Head Coach - Deron Collins Coach Collins comes to us from Maysville, Kentucky where he brings along with him 17 years of coaching experience. He is a graduate of Southeastern University where he received his BA in Social Science. His current coaching record is 313-151 with a winning percentage of .675. He is currently in his fifth year as head coach at Lakeland High School. His coaching experience ranges from assistant coach at Santa Fe in the late 80's and at Lake Wales in the early 90's. In 1992 he became the head coach at Sebring High School and would later become the head coach at Haines City in 1997. While at Haines City he would win one state championships. Upon making the move to Lakeland for the 03-04 season, he would impose his will to make the Dreadnaughts champions. in just 4 years he as already accomplished a District Runner-up and Regional Semifinalist in the 05-06 season and a District Championship and regional Semifinalist for the 06-07 Season. Last year the Naughts finished with an impressive record of 26-2. Along with his wife Karla, they have two children; Savana and Mason.

Corey Barnes Coach Barnes brings 15 years of experience to the coaching staff. He has served as a coach with AAU/USSA/YBOA organizations, three years as George Jenkins Head coach and is entering his third year as an assistant at Lakeland. A graduate of the University of South Florida, Coach Barnes would go onto receiving his Master's degree from Saint Leo University in Educational Leadership. He is currently the Assistant Principal at Lake Alfred Addair Middle School. His wife is Lakeland's Varsity Cheerleading coach and Assistant Head Coach for the Girls Track team at Lakeland. Together they have a son, Corey Jr. back
