 Coach Abdon was born in St. Petersburg, FL and raised in New Jersey where he attended and graduated from Lower Cape May Regional High School in 1990. While at Lower Cape he would be voted 1st team all county QB and most improved offensive player his Jr. year. During his Sr. year he would again be voted 1st team all county as a defensive back and elected team MVP. Brian would also obtain several accolades as a wrestler including placing 4th in the New Jersey State Championship.
Coach Abdon would then go onto attend Florida Southern College and graduate with honors with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Ed and Specific Learning Disabilities in 1994. Coach Abdon is in his 13th year as a Polk County Teacher and in his 7th year as a Dreadnaught Football Coach. This will be his forth year as Head JV Football Coach.
Brian is married to Crystal and have 2 Children; Brendon 4 years old and Brae 3 years old and will be expecting their third child (a son) in September.
