BIO: I was born in Miami, but was raised in Lakeland, FL where I still reside. I have three other siblings, which are all younger than myself. (two brothers and a sister) Family is very important to me, so I try to spend as much time with them as I can. All of my family lives in Jacksonville, FL.

I graduated from Lakeland High School in 1995. While attending LHS I was apart of Future Educators of America and also played Football. After graduating I went on to earn the first half of my Bachelors at Polk Community College where I would later transfer to Warner Southern College. I would graduate with my B.A. in Business Management with a concentration in Information Technology and Public Administration.

While putting myself through school I’ve worked as a construction worker, head bartender, head tobacconist, in a warehouse as a produce specialist, and as a paraprofessional at Lakeland High School’s Media Center. Upon finishing my undergraduate degree I became a teacher in the Business Department of Lakeland High School. I am going into my sixth year as a teacher where I currently am teaching Web Design and Administrative Office 1.

I’ve been a football coach at LHS for 14 years. I am the Running Backs coach and I also handle all of our media relations, team website, and the school’s sports website. (LakelandFootball.com & LakelandSports.net)

I entered Full Sail’s Master in Educational Media Design and Technology program to gain greater insight in reaching students using technology. I believe it will help me in the classroom and also in the future as an administrator. My goal is to either seek a second master's degree or move on to my Doctorates degree.

I enjoy all types of competitive sports, trail riding in my Jeep, camping, hiking, pretty much anything outdoors, the visual and performing arts, cooking, and traveling. I have too many hobbies to list as I find that life has too much to offer and the list seems to continue to grow. I also enjoy spending time with my best friend, which is a Boston Terrier named Herschel. He is my rock! He is a great dog!
